The parent company of a major Neillsville employer continues to grow.
Regal Beloit Corp., parent to Leeson Electric, announced today it has acquired a Tennessee company with factories in China.
The company, Morrill Motors, makes motors and components for refrigerators and freezers.
The purchase price has not been disclosed.
In a news release, Regal Beloit said it expects Morrill to add about $42 million in sales in 2008.
Regal Beloit, with headquarters in Beloit, had $1.6 billion in net sales in 2006.
