A Marshfield travel agent is still free as authorities investigate 73 reports of possible fraud and identity theft.

42-year-old Marcia Meshak owns Travel Pro in Marshfield. She went missing in late September and her customers began to notice the travel arrangements they paid for weren"t made.

Meshak turned up in Colorado over the weekend when she was in a one-vehicle accident, but wasn"t arrested because no charges were filed.

The total reported loss is now up to $212,000, but the Marshfield Police Department still hasn"t filed charges, though they recently interviewed her.

Police Chief Joe Stroik anticipates charges will be filed with Marathon and Wood county district attorneys or the U.S. Attorney"s Office within the next few weeks.

While she"s not in custody, Stroik says authorities know where Meshak is and are confident they can contact her when necessary.
