SEWER RATES GOING UP

City of Neillsville residents will notice an increase in their utility bills next quarter. The city council voted to increase the sewer rate by 15-percent this week.

The utilities are projected to run about $124,000 in the red this year.

The increase will raise the average city resident's sewer bill by $13 per quarter.
