CITY HOLDING OFF ON HIRING 3D STRATEGIES

Neillsville's Economic Development Commission decided Monday to hold off on rehiring 3D Strategies.
3D was initially hired to market the city a few years ago when Cummins Inc. initially announced plans to close their muffler plant.
The City has spent roughly $50,000 with the firm since.
While 3D has continued “headhunting” for new businesses, they were not responsible for bringing OEM Fabricators to Neillsville.
The Commission did agree to spend $1,100 to hire Innovative Tourism, an Eau Claire-based firm that specializes in group tours.
