ATV ACCIDENT NEAR WISC. RAPIDS

A 51-year-old man is dead following an A-T-V crash in the Wood County Town of Rome.
The Rome Police Department says Alan J- Beaudry was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident was still being investigated but the department says preliminary evidence shows Beaudry failed to negotiate a curve in the road.
The department says the A-T-V left the road and hit several trees before coming to a stop. Beaudry was ejected from the vehicle. He was wearing a helmet.
