DOG BITE SENDS GIRL TO HOSPITAL

On Saturday night, a 5-year-old girl from South Dakota had to be taken by ambulance from the Bull Riding competition after she was bitten in the face by a dog.
According to police reports, Mayson Buffington was bitten by a Blue Heeler owned by an Oklahoma man. The incident happened in the Cowboy Area on the infield in front on the Grandstands.
The bite left a deep, 4-inch laceration that required emergency surgery at Memorial Medical Center.
