WILDWOOD ZOO HAS NEW KEEPER

A Wood County native will return to direct operations at Marshfield’s Wildwood Zoo.
Jerry Jepson was one of 120 applicants for the position held by the departed Kathryn Yochis.
Jepson will officially begin July 31.
According to the Marshfield NewsHerald, The Zookeeper is responsible for all aspects of daily animal care such as feeding, cleaning and maintaining animal facilities.
He will also work with veterinarians to care for the animals and implement nutrition and enrichment programs.
