Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

Perjury charges against a man convicted for his role in the July 2003 pipebombing of a moving vehicle have hit a delay.

Wayne Jensen is already serving out a prison sentence for his role in the incident that sent his wife’s ex-husband and then fiancé to the hospital as they drove to Neillsville on Hwy 73.

Jensen has already been bound over on charges he lied to investigators and under oath at a hearing.

At a pre-trial conference on Wednesday, Jensen’s attorney voiced his desire to have Clark County District Attorney Darwin Zwieg removed from the case so he could be subpoenaed as a witness. McNight will have to submit that request as a motion. Jensen will next appear in court on March 4th.
