ROCK SPRINTS TO SECOND-PLACE

Stratford-native Andrew Rock ran his first meet since winning the U.S. Championship in the 400m last month. Running in Paris, Rock finished second behind reigning World Champion Jeremy Wariner. Wariner ran the fastest time in the world this year – 43.91-seconds. Rock finished second in 45.02, followed by Tyler Christopher of Canada. Rock is currently ranked 5th in the World in the 400m – Wariner is ranked 1st. Rock’s next meet is this Friday in Rome.
