-Policies and changing school handbook language was discussed at the Greenwood School Board meeting on Monday.

The board approved the second reading of the Electronics Policy which will now be e-mailed to all faculty members.

For the Volunteer Policy, the first sentence under the Volunteer Definition part of the policy was replaced with A volunteer is defined as any individual that volunteers their time in any capacity with the students of the School District of Greenwood. The individuals do not receive compensation for his/her services.

Finally, in the teacher handbook, regarding the school calendar, under the 190 teacher contracted days, it includes 4 in-service days and 2.5 records day. The language was changed to read: 6.5 days to be used as in-service or records days during the school year. This change was approved.
