33RD WISCONSIN SOLDIER KILLED IN IRAQ

Another Wisconsin soldier has been killed in Iraq. 22-year-old Lance Cpl Travis Wichlacz died Saturday as the result of hostile action in Babil Province. He was assigned to Marine Forces Reserves 2nd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division in Milwaukee. Wichlacz was the 33rd Wisconsin soldier listed to have died in Iraq and the first since Staff Sgt Todd Olson of Loyal died as a result of injuries sustained by an improvised explosive device in Samarra on December 27th.
