DOT Reminding Those In Blaze Orange Not To Drink And Drive.

As the quest is underway to bag the “big one” this deer hunting season, the DOT is taking a new approach to remind those in blaze orange not to drink and drive.

Gas pump toppers with the message, “Don’t get tagged for OWI this deer season” are displayed at convenience stores around the state.

Safety officials urge everyone to designate a sober driver during the deer hunting season, and all year long, and be responsible. Don’t risk being arrested or being the cause of a serious or fatal crash by making a poor judgment call.

The Wisconsin Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association is assisting the DOT with this public outreach.
