UW-STEVENS POINT STUDENT CHARGED

A U-W Stevens Point student is charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl he met on the popular Internet site MySpace-dot-com.
Twenty-two-year-old Jesse Cahn faces six felony charges, including second-degree sexual assault of a child. Prosecutors say computer chat records show Cahn knew the rural Marshfield girl was 14.
A complaint says Cahn drove to the victim's home several times and picked her up, including one time last month when he took her to a dead end road and assaulted her.
The charges carry a maximum 175 years in prison and 550-thousand dollars in fines.
