-Taking a look at some other budget numbers from city departments and how they contributed to Neillsville’s 2014 budget.

The Parks and Recreation Department presented their 2014 budget of $67,521 compared to this year’s $66,761. That slight $760 increase can mainly be contributed to salary increases.

The Library Board presented their 2014 budget of $115,940 which is the same amount that it was this year. There were some increases and decreases in the lines of the budget, but they equaled out in the end.

Economic Development’s budget of $57,800 is a slight decrease over this year’s $58,000. That decrease can be contributed to minor decrease in specific lines of the budget.

The City Hall budget for 2014 is $38,918 which is an increase of over $7,000 compared to this year’s $31,870. That increase is contributed to the new network that was set up at city hall.
